"Late"

I've been playing around with 3D animation for many years and have been involved in a few projects but never one of my own.  Then, one day, whilst admiring a fellow artists concept drawing, inspiration struck me.  It was a weird feeling.  For years I had thought the services had driven all signs of creativity out of me but I was inspired.  That was Tuesday, 9 May 2005.  A couple of days mulling around in my subconscious and I had the whole idea in my head but just couldn't flesh out the ending.  A quick chat with a short story writing work colleague (thanks Paul) and there it was - ready to lay out on paper.  30 minutes later and I had the 8 page, 6 act, first draft written (it is only a short short afterall).  So, on Friday 13 May 2005, pre production on the project commenced.

Its not a story but rather the fleshing out of a premise.  I can't give too much away or the whole thing will be ruined.

[March 10, 2007] Try an easier project first

All my work on TWO has paid off and my animation skills have improved significantly.  So much so that I am about to embark on a short based on an existing story - The Little Match Seller.  See this page for further details.

[June 18, 2005] On the backburner

Since Martin Hash appointed me project manager for the Hash TWO movie project I have had to stop work on my short (and all my other projects - so much to do so little time).  In any case this is an ambitious project for me - the screenplay still needs to be finalised.

[May 18, 2005] Choosing the lead

This character is one created by Al Desrochers some years ago.  He released it on CD for those who wished to buy his work and I kind of like the look of him.  Yes I could model my own character for this short but this guy seems to fit the bill nicely.  The model has some issues and will need a little bit of fixing up (this image was touched up in Adobe Photoshop to remove the issues in the finger joints as well as the cheek)
