Studio Setup

So what does my studio look like.  Well like most others, my home studio is in whatever space I have available, namely a spare bedroom.  There sis a lot here that has been built up over time (and needs to be updated from time to time to keep up with the software development.

So what do we have here?  4PC's and 2 laptops (15 cores in total) so plenty of rendering capability, more than 6Tb of data storage.  You can also see the Zoom H4n Digital Audio Recorder and Rode M3 microphone setup to the left for dialogue work.  All the books in that bookcase are Astronomy books.  The animation stuff (2 shelves of DVD's plus 1 shelf of How to books is in a bookshelf on the back wall to the left.  With all computers running and rendering, the temperature in this room goes up 15 degrees - all well and good in winter but unbearable in Summer (hence the portable AC unit)

Software - its a long list.  3D work is done using Animation Master, Blender and VUE.  Audio is done with Cubase and Audacity while compositing and editing is done with Blender and ScreenFlow.
