More fun with Blender.
This time applying bits and pieces to put
together a character, rigging it then animating a simple walk cycle.
The BBB DVD came with lots of cool
resources but one of the best was the video tutorial on rigging a character.
More fun with Blender...... My first Animation
This time applying bits and pieces to put
together a simple render applying elements of Materials, decals, posing

Natalie Portman - Head
This was my first model made with Blender. Just an exercises to learn
how to use Blender. Still need to work on hair and UV mapping
Baby - Head required for a Star Wars
Fan Film (head only - to be rigged and animated).
The head is rendered at a pixel ratio of 1.2:1 as required by the producer
and has a basic decal applied to the face only. Left to do - Hair and
tongue - then I can rig it (once I have the producers approval). This
is an unpaid gig.
Project was handed over tot he producer to finish - just
ran out of steam on this one.
Heros
- Hash Image Contest December 2004
Experimenting with a new model (Using my Morgan head). If only I could
rig and texture models as quickly as I can build them :-(
Hermione -
New Female Character - Face
Having another go at modeling a human face. This one appears to be
coming along much better than my previous attempts!
This image is the full face model with the roto
decaled to it and rendered with the roto in background. It obviously
doesn't show the model up well but I have yet to model the eyes, hair and
the rest of the head (and learn how to properly decal the head)
The final version of this face can be seen on
the Gallery page. The project file (including model and decals) can be
downloaded here (2mb zip)
