Strong elongated central condensation with bright diffuse coma/tail.
North is Up and East is to the right. Overall
appearance is a hemisphere/fan with the nucleus at the centre of the
straight edge. 2 obvious dust jets are visible 1' in PA 210 and
0.5' in PA 150.

Strong elongated central condensation with bright diffuse coma/tail.
North is Up and East is to the right. Tail
extends PA 205 then curves to PA 180 with the appearance of a broad
fan shaped tail in PA120

Oval shaped coma not evenly distributed around a strong
central condensation. Breaks in the coma appear at PA 140, PA
160 (a 'V' shaped notch) and at PA 230. Coma very much flatter
and dimmer on the NW side of the nucleus. The edges of the 'V'
shaped notch are brighter than the rest of the coma indicating
possible dust jets.

Nucleus is quite stellar in
appearance with small diffuse coma. Evidence of dust jet still
visible 34" in PA 176. Possible second jet 30" in PA
211. Small tail is short and fan shaped.
