 M42 and M43 in Orion
This image was captured on the 4" Meade SCT
piggybacked to the 10" LX200GPS.
Consists of LRGB where the RGB involved the use of Meade Red, Green and
Blue Planetary filters. Filters were changed by hand each frame so I had to re-align and focus each
integration. 5 minutes at each of LRGB with the SX MX516, aligned
and stacked using ImagesPlus |
 GRB 030329

The brightest object in this image is 13.1R (Bottom
Centre)
0.25m SCT at f/4.3, SX MX516 CCD, single 240 second
guided integration.

Jupiter
28 March 2004
These images were captured with the Meade LPI and
Autostarsuites Image capture software through my 14" LX200GPS SMT at f/10.
Post processed in Photoshop - AutoLevels (50%) and Unsharp Mask (Minor)
Seeing was a little mushy and I was not able to get a sharp focus even
with the 26mm EP.

 Saturn
05 February 2004
This image was captured with the Meade LPI and
autostarsuite software through my LX90 at f/20. The image was post
processed in MaxIm DL to sharpen. It's a little 'flat' but better
than I have been able to achieve before.
